Terms & Conditions - Storage (SAN Consultancy)
1. Service
- The price quoted is an estimate, and a final quote (with adjustments/discounts) will be provided by our sales team.
- We cannot guarantee that the quantity of days selected by the customer is adequate to complete the work required, and will recommend an increase in days if we consider this to be the case.
2. Onsite Days
- Onsite visit prices are valid for mainland UK locations only, and other locations may be subject to additional charges.
- A day consists of 8 hours, with core working hours between 8:00am - 6:00pm. Work outside these hours can be conducted with prior arrangement.
- The onsite visits are limited to 1 location only (unless pre-arranged beforehand).
- The days can be taken consecutively or individually, but must be taken within a 6 month period (unless otherwise agreed beforehand).
3. Remote Days
- A day consists of 8 hours, with core working hours between 8:00am - 6:00pm. Work outside these hours can be conducted with prior arrangement.
- The days can be taken consecutively or individually, but must be taken within a 12 month period (unless otherwise agreed beforehand).
4. Configuration
- Configuration work may be done remotely, either prior to installation or post-installation.
- We may refuse to configure equipment that is ether outside the scope of the scope of works, or not as specified in the scope of works.
- We accept no responsibility for devices configured by third parties.
5. Installation
- We may refuse to install equipment that is ether outside the scope of the scope of works, or not as specified in the scope of works.
- We accept no responsibility for devices installed by third parties.
- It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that equipment can be installed as stated in the scope of works, that all health & safety requirements are in place, and all locations are available when required.
6. Staff & Contractors
- Some services are provided by our sub-contractors or partners. This will be made clear on the final quote.
- We accept no responsibility for the quality or performance of any services or products of any third party.
7. Price & Payment
- The price quoted is an estimate, and a final quote (with adjustments/discounts) will be provided by our sales team.
- It is the customer's responsibility to ensure suitable payment methods are available to cover cloud platform costs.
- This price does not include the cost of the cloud platform itself, or any other associated software costs.
- Any hadrware/software costs must be paid by the customer beforehand (unless agreed otherwise)
- Payment for this service must be received beforehand.
- The price does not include any additional services requested by the customer which were not included in the original proposal.
- The price does not include any additional work required to complete the service which was not anticipated at the time of the proposal.
- Any additional onsite/remote days must be agreed and paid beforehand.
- Any full unused days remaining at the end of the project will be refunded to the customer.
