Terms & Conditions - Security 'In a Box' (Medium Company)
1. Service
- The price quoted is an estimate, and a final quote (with adjustments/discounts) will be provided by our sales team.
- The 'certification pack' displayed is for illustrative purposes only, and may be different from that shown.
- Support documents are the copyright of Jovasi Technology Limited and the IASME Corporation, and should not be shared or copied without authorisation.
- The service includes reviewing policies, procedures and documentation, but does not include their creation and ownership.
2. Cyber Essentials
- Cyber Essentials assessment re-takes are free (in accordance with CE guidelines), but any additional tests will be chargeable.
- The number of devices tested/scanned is limited to those defined by the Cyber Essentials scheme.
- All user devices to be tested, including mobile and BYOD, must be available for testing during the onsite visit.
- It is your responsibility to submit the self-assessment itself.
- We cannot guarantee that you pass the Cyber Essentials certification, as some elements are beyond our control.
- The certification is valid for 12 months.
3. Onsite Days
- A day consists of 8 hours, with core working hours between 8:00am - 6:00pm. Work outside these hours can be conducted with prior arrangement.
- This option includes a 1 day onsite consultancy meeting per year.
4. Remote Support
- A day consists of 8 hours, with core working hours between 8:00am - 6:00pm. Work outside these hours can be conducted with prior arrangement.
- Remote work can be used in 2 hour segments.
- No refunds are given for unused remote work.
- The days can be taken consecutively or individually.
5. Monitoring Appliance
- The monitoring appliance remains the property of Jovasi Technology Limited.
- A monitoring appliance will be placed at each site/location (according to the number of locations quoted).
- The monitoring appliance is a 'headless' unit, and no console access will be given to the customer.
- The monitoring appliance should be connected to the network to be monitored with a single ethernet cable.
- Faulty appliances will be replaced free of charge.
- If an onsite visit is required to investigate an appliance which is not faulty, then an additional charge will be applied.
- The customer should keep the shipping box, as it will be required when returning the appliance.
- Any physical damage to the appliance will be chargeable.
- Any attempted hacks against the appliance will be investigated, and reported to authorities.
6. Staff & Contractors
- Some services are provided by our sub-contractors or partners. This will be made clear on the final quote.
- Our staff will not conduct vulnerability scans without a signed testing authorisation form (which will be supplied when purchasing the service).
7. Price & Payment
- The price quoted is an estimate, and a final quote (with adjustments/discounts) will be provided by our sales team.
- Payment for this service must be received beforehand.
- The price does not include any additional services requested by the customer which were not included in the original proposal.
- The price does not include any additional work required to complete the service which was not anticipated at the time of the proposal.
- The price quoted is an annual price (covering 12 months). At the end of the 12 months, the contract will automatically renew.
- If the certification is failed again after the 2 week deadline, then the certification must be purchased again, and is subject to additional charges.
8. Cyber Insurance
- The insurance is only available to companies with a turnover less than £20m a year.
- The assessment scope must cover the whole of the company.
- The cover is underwritten by AXA XL, a division of AXA and brokered through Sutcliffe & Co.
